Gaia is the Greek goddess of the Earth, representing life. She is the mother goddess who gives nourishment and sustenance to all her children.

Meet Georgie Carmichael
Hi, I am Georgie, an accredited practicing dietitian and nutritionist, passionate foodie, and lover of the outdoors.
I have always been drawn to nutrition and working with people. My dream of pursuing dietetics was sparked at 14, when a dietitian visited my school, and I felt it would be the perfect career for me. Two degrees later and having worked across private practice, aged care, and home care, my passion has only strengthened with time. What started off as a dream has become a passion for supporting others to improve their relationship with food and feel empowered in their bodies.
My passion for women’s health is born from both my own personal journey with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and experience navigating body image challenges and learning to embrace my body, entering the new era of Motherhood.
These experiences have given me a deep sense of compassion and understanding. I know how important it is to feel heard, supported, and free from judgment. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you can explore your health with curiosity, not pressure. Creating a collaborative environment is central to my practice. On your journey with nutrition, you are always at the centre of the work we do.
I support a wide range of health concerns, including women’s health: Menopause, perimenopause, endometriosis, PCOS, & fertility. I have a strong interest in supporting clients who are considering, commencing, or ceasing GLP-1 therapy (wegovy®, Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, and Saxenda®), helping to support the preservation of lean muscle tissue, minimise side effects, prevent nutritional deficiencies, and build sustainable habits. Please see the specialties section for a comprehensive list of the conditions I support.
Outside of work, you will find me enjoying a coastal walk with country music blasting in my headphones and coffee in hand, and attempting to keep up with my very energetic, soon-to-be 4-year-old. Or sitting on the beach during the warmer months, reading Mythos by Stephen Fry (the book that sparked my passion for Greek mythology, and inspired the name, Gaia.)
